Ten thousand years before Paul Atreides, the sisterhood that becomes the Bene Gesserit is fighting for survival inside the empire’s power games. Emily Watson and Olivia Williams as sisters on opposite sides of that fight are worth the price alone.
The politics can be chilly and the plot machinery shows its gears, but the world building is rich and the stakes grow on you. For Dune fans, essential. For everyone else, a solid slow burn.
