Marvel’s street-level story of a kid with a vision of the future and the adults who want to weaponize it. The Disney+ machine turns its attention to a young hero whose power is knowing what happens next, which turns out to be a thriller premise, not an action one.

It plays best when it leans into the paradox: foreknowledge as a curse, heroism as choosing anyway. The supporting cast of morally flexible adults (government handlers, a rival with a similar gift) keeps the young lead honest. Marvel pacing applies, mid-season wobble, strong back half, a finale that sets up more than it resolves, but the central performance holds it together. For fans of the grounded corner of the MCU who prefer chess to punching.
