Our Review

The first season is close to perfect: Reverse Flash is the best villain the CW ever produced, the time travel lands emotionally, and the CGI speed never outstays its welcome. Later seasons cycle through bigger and weirder threats with varying success, but the cast chemistry (Cisco’s naming ceremony, the Wells carousel) carries it to a genuinely moving series finale in season nine. The most purely fun show the Arrowverse ever made.
