The Bones spin-off nobody expected: Geoff Stults as Walter Sherman, a brain damaged Iraq vet with an unshakable gift for finding anything, anyone, or any answer, working out of a Florida keys bar with a paranoid lawyer and a teenage pilot. Michael Clarke Duncan’s Leo is the heart, warm and enormous, and his scenes with Walter carry the show.
Light, quirky, comfort viewing with an island breeze procedural format. Cancelled after one thirteen episode season, cut short further by Duncan’s death shortly after. What exists is a pleasant little curio worth finding.
Our take: 7/10.
