Catherine Zeta-Jones is a retired cocaine queenpin hunted by the Seven Demons, an elite hit squad, who decides the better plan is to kill all seven. Premiered October 2, 2026: Prime Video in Canada, AMC+ in the US.

Shawn Ryan's adaptation of Matthew Quirk's novel became Netflix's surprise smash of 2023, and the reason is simple: it is a straight ahead, professionally built conspiracy thriller with no self importance and no dead weight. Gabriel Basso plays Peter Sutherland, a low level FBI agent stuck monitoring an emergency phone line that never rings, until it rings, and he is suddenly protecting Rose Larkin, a tech CEO played by Luciane Buchanan, while uncovering a mole hunt that reaches the White House. Ten episodes, one escalating night of it, and a full second season set in Bangkok.

Elizabeth Meriwether, the creator of New Girl and the devastating Dying for Sex, takes an odd swerve into serial killer territory with this eight episode series loosely inspired by the 1987 thriller Black Widow. Emmy Rossum plays Alice Black, an FBI agent hunting a calculating female serial killer, played with icy charisma by Lola Petticrew, and the show's central gambit is structural: it tells the story from both sides, giving the killer's backstory and reasoning nearly equal weight, until the pursuit starts to look like a twisted courtship.

Jon Hamm finally gets the role his Mad Men gravitas has been circling: Fred Heckman, a beloved Indianapolis radio reporter who ends up on the wrong end of his own microphone when an armed man, Tony Kiritsis, takes him hostage live on air in 1977. Based on the scripted podcast and the real case, the eight episode MGM+ series turns a three day standoff into a period piece about media saturation, police incompetence, and a kidnapper who understood television better than the people covering him.

The anthology experiment: six standalone stories across the timeline and map of the apocalypse, with different tones, casts, and formats. One episode is an odd-couple comedy, one is a deep character piece, and one introduces a major new villain origin…
