Our Review
Jeff Bridges as a former CIA operative living off the grid whose past comes calling, and the chase drama is elevated by the best veteran ensemble on TV: Bridges, John Lithgow as his pursuer, and Alia Shawkat as the agent caught between. The premiere’s home invasion sequence is a masterclass in tension.
Season two goes global and gets messier but the performances never waver. A classy, patient thriller for people who like their spies world weary.
