The third Disney XD Spider-Man is the most anonymous: fresh from a lab obsessed Midtown rival, this Peter fumbles through Horizon High with a suit of his own design, a voice performance by a young Peter who treats the suit like a science project.

It aims at a younger room than Ultimate and plays its science lectures straight. The Maximum Venom arc is genuinely fun, the writing keeps its characters kind, and nobody gets traumatized. 6.2 on IMDb is honest for a show built for after school viewing rather than fan forums. Fine background Spider-Man for younger kids, skippable for everyone else.
