Johnny Joestar, a paralyzed ex-jockey, chases the outlaw Gyro Zeppeli across 6,000 kilometers of frontier, and the race format gives the show a propulsive structure the earlier parts never had. Every stage introduces a new Stand user, a new trap, and a new reason to scream at your screen.
