Guy Ritchie does television, and somehow it works. Theo James plays the aristocrat who inherits a title along with the family business: a cannabis empire tucked into the grounds of a country estate. Kaya Scodelario is the brilliant, terrifying business partner who actually runs it, and every episode is a Ritchie crime comedy distilled into an hour: freeze frame narration, thumping needle drops, villains with excellent manners, and violence that lands like a punchline.
Season 1 is a blast: the empire vs. the criminal underworld vs. the aristocracy, with a supporting cast (Giancarlo Esposito’s scheming Yank especially) clearly having the time of their lives. Season 2, which arrived in September 2026, keeps the party going with new threats to the business and the same stylistic swagger.
It is a lark, and it knows it. If the trailer made you laugh, the show will too.
Our take: 8/10. Pure Ritchie fun, no homework required.
