A 90s Dick Wolf cop show with a difference: two detectives in Harlem, a soundtrack that was basically a hip hop and R&B chart, and a club as the office. Malik Yoba and Michael DeLorenzo had real chemistry, and the show treated its community stories with respect prime time rarely bothered with.
It is very much of its era, and that is the appeal. A time capsule worth reopening.
