Riri Williams builds her own Iron Man style armor while dealing with grief, money problems, and a very charming villain. Dominique Thorne is great and Alden Ehrenreich’s take on the Hood gives the back half a real jolt.
The problem is the middle, which drifts, and a finale that rushes everything it built. Worth watching for the two leads, but it never quite becomes essential.
