Before the mask, before the One Year War, he was Casval Rem Deikun, a boy whose father was murdered for his ideals and who grew up planning to burn the family that did it. This series follows him and his sister Artesia through the years that forged the Red Comet.
Adapted from the manga by the original character designer, it is the most beautiful the Universal Century has ever looked, and it makes Char’s every later action make terrible sense. You can watch it before or after the 1979 series, both orders work.
