MR. ROBOT follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a young cyber-security engineer who becomes involved in the underground hacker group fsociety, after being recruited by their mysterious leader (Christian Slater). Following the events of fsociety’s 5/9 hack on multi-national company Evil Corp, the second season will explore the consequences of that attack as well as the illusion of control.MR. Season Review

The aftermath season: Elliot in prison (a detour that pays off), the FBI’s investigation closing in (Dom’s arc is the season’s stealth best), Stage 2’s dark turn, and the python… the… — the season’s centerpiece: a single-take sitcom episode that is either the most daring or most unhinged hour of TV that year (it’s both). Darlene’s grief over the five/nine fallout and Angela’s corporate seduction by Whiterose deepen the tragedy. Sam Esmail directs every episode like a film.
