Summary
Mr. Robot and Elliot try to make nice; and Joanna is given an ultimatum.
Our Take
This one’s a slow burn that mostly works because of the uneasy truce between Elliot and Mr. Robot, which gives Rami Malek and Christian Slater some of their best scenes this season. The Joanna subplot adds menace but feels like it’s stalling for time. Not a standout hour, though the ending lands hard enough to make it worth sitting through the quieter stretches.
