Our Take
A deliberately slow reentry that spends most of its hour with Elliot talking to us, and your patience with his unreliability will decide how well this lands. The atmosphere and unease are still there, but the plot barely moves and the premiere feels longer than it is. Worth it for fans who like the show’s moodier side, but don’t expect momentum.
