Summary
After losing the love of his life in a car crash, Doctor Strange becomes consumed with finding a spell that can bring Christine back to life.
Our Take
This is the darkest hour the show has done, and it mostly earns it. Strange’s grief spiral into obsession gives Cumberbatch real material to work with, and the ending lands with a bleakness you don’t expect from this series. The middle drags a bit with repeated timeline resets, but the payoff is worth it. A surprisingly heavy, effective watch.
