Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Nick Fury struggles to launch The Avengers when candidates are targeted by a serial killer. Meanwhile, Loki presented himself to the Earth governments as king of Asgard using all his diplomacy.
Our Take
A surprisingly dark murder mystery that turns the Avengers concept on its head, and the mystery angle mostly works. Fury gets to carry an episode for once, and the pacing keeps you guessing even when the eventual reveal feels a bit rushed. It’s a tighter, more focused hour than the first two episodes, and worth your time.
