Summary
Marcos turns to a former girlfriend for information on the convoy that is taking Reed and Lorna to a secure facility. Meanwhile, John and the others plan a rescue, but things go amiss when it turns out that Jace has a mutant of his own.
Our Take
The rescue plot finally gives the season some momentum, and the Sentinel Services twist adds a wrinkle worth caring about. Still, the action beats feel small for a story this big, and Marcos’ reunion with his ex stops the hour cold right when it should be accelerating. Decent enough, but you can feel the budget straining. Watch it, just don’t expect fireworks.
