Summary
Kevin is throwing a party, and Steven is invited.
Our Take
Kevin gets a full episode and somehow it works, mostly because the show uses his obnoxiousness to poke at Steven and Connie’s awkward fallout without turning either of them into a punchline. The party scenes have a nice uneasy energy, and Kevin’s self-serving advice lands funnier than it should. A lighter hour, but a smart one that earns its high rating.
