Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Troi wakes up as a Romulan intelligence officer much to her surprise. She then finds out that it is part of a elaborate scheme for Romulan dissident’s to defect.
Our Take
A tense undercover thriller that finally gives Troi something meaty to do, and Marina Sirtis clearly relishes playing her impostor with real edge. The Romulan politics are convincingly nasty, and the pacing keeps the screws tight for the full hour. One of season six’s better outings and worth your time.
