Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A Starfleet Lieutenant and a Klingon officer is implicated in the murder of the missing starfleet officer on a remote relay station. One of the shuttlecraft’s is missing as well. Aquiel Uhnari is befriended by Geordi after he reads her personal logs during the investigation.
Our Take
A middling mystery that never quite clicks, mostly because the romance angle feels forced. Geordi falling for Aquiel through her logs is meant to be poignant but comes off as a bit creepy instead. The Klingon subplot and the eventual reveal pick things up late, though by then it’s hard to care much. Watchable, but far from essential.
