Episode Summary & Review
Summary
“The Trouble with Truth” Athena shows up wanting Wonder Woman to relocate to Mount Olympus so that she can fill in the position of Goddess of Truth. In order to see if Wonder Woman is worthy, Athena follows her, Batman, and Green Arrow on their mission to stop the H.I.V.E. from setting their cobalt fusion bomb off at the docks.
Our Take
Athena tagging along on a mission is a fun setup, and the episode gets good mileage out of Wonder Woman being watched and judged while just trying to do her job. The H.I.V.E. plot is thin, but the character banter carries it, and the ending lands with a nice bit of honesty. A solid, breezy half hour well worth your time.
