Summary
“Freezer Burn” Mr. Freeze flies on his freeze gun wielding airship to freeze all of Gotham City using Killer Frost as his power source after tricking her into an alliance after she evaded Firestorm. While Batman deals with Mr. Freeze, Firestorm will have to save Killer Frost where he develops a crush on her at the same time
Our Take
A fun villain team-up episode that leans into Firestorm’s teen awkwardness, and the crush angle gives his fight scenes an enjoyably awkward energy. Freeze is suitably cold and calculating, and the pairing with Killer Frost actually makes sense. It’s a light, fast-moving half hour that doesn’t overstay its welcome, worth checking in for.
