Summary
Jessica continues her search for Malus and the mystery woman. Meanwhile, Trish starts to go through drug withdrawal, Malcolm confronts his past, and Inez confronts Jeri over her ALS.
Our Take
This is a middling hour that mostly sets up bigger things. The Trish withdrawal subplot gives Rachael Taylor some raw material to work with, and Carrie-Anne Moss does good work in the Jeri scenes, but the central investigation moves at a crawl. Malcolm’s storyline feels tacked on rather than earned. Fine if you’re invested in the season, but don’t expect momentum.
