Episode Summary & Review
Summary
While Jessica tries to find Whizzer’s killer, Trish conducts her own investigation and recruits Malcolm to help her. Meanwhile, Jeri deals with her medical condition in her own unique way.
Our Take
A slow-burn hour that spends more time setting up season-long threads than delivering any real payoff. Trish’s investigation gives her something to do, and Jeri’s storyline lands the episode’s most uncomfortable moments, but Jessica’s case mostly treads water. Worth watching for the character work, just don’t expect the momentum of the premiere to continue here.
