Summary
Jessica is drowning her guilt over killing Killgrave in alcohol and meaningless cases. Trish insists on digging up Jessica’s past to learn more about IGH, and a client who IGH experimented on comes to Jessica asking for help. Meanwhile, Jeri gets some disturbing news and a rival detective firm offers to buy Alias Investigations out.
Our Take
A slow, moody return that trades the season one villain tension for Jessica’s self-destructive spiral. Krysten Ritter sells the numbness well and the IGH mystery has some pull, but the pacing drags and the rival firm subplot feels like filler. Worth watching if you’re already invested, just don’t expect the hook of the first season.
