Summary
Kenny is shocked when he receives some unexpected visitors, and in a final option attempt to regain control over his team, he plans the ultimate Independence Day celebration. Stevie struggles with his guilt and makes a confession.
Our Take
This one’s a mixed bag, with the July 4th spectacle delivering some solid Kenny absurdity while Stevie’s confession stuff drags more than it lands. The visitors storyline feels like setup for later rather than its own payoff. There are laughs here, but the episode coasts on Danny McBride’s energy instead of giving him much new to do. Watchable, just not essential.
