Summary
Kenny thinks his son Toby is cursed and might be to blame for a recent run of bad luck, and later tries to bond with Shane’s puritanical family. Meanwhile, Stevie is racked with guilt.
Our Take
A middling episode that leans on Kenny’s superstition about baby Toby for laughs, and it only lands about half the time. The dinner scene with Shane’s uptight family has a few good awkward moments, but Stevie’s guilt trip drags and feels like stalling. Fine if you’re already on board this season, just don’t expect the show’s sharpest material.
