Summary
Stevie continues to grieve over what he has lost, while Kenny attempts to come to terms with the challenging responsibilities he faces as a father and as a man. He decides to take his chances with a brand new pitch.
Our Take
Stevie’s grief gets some genuinely funny, sad material here, and the father-son stuff gives Kenny a rare bit of self-awareness that almost sticks. The new pitch storyline mostly treads water until the closing minutes, though. A middling hour with a few good laughs, worth it for completists but not the season’s high point.
