Summary
As Walt and Jesse adjust to life out of the business, Hank grapples with a troubling lead.
Our Take
The trap: Hank, knowing, plays calm long enough to confirm; Walt, spooked, hides his money in the desert barrels; Jesse, broken and working with Hank, lures Walt to the burial site with a photo of the money. The confrontation. “You’re the smartest guy I ever met, and you’re too stupid to see he made up his mind ten minutes ago”, ends with Walt cuffed, Hank calling Marie to say he’s got him… and then the Nazis arrive. The hour ends mid standoff, gunfire, and the sound of a series pivoting into its endgame. Best single hour of the half season.
