Summary

Walt takes control of business matters as Mike grapples with the consequences of his actions.

Our Take

Mike’s exit: the lawyer flip, the names, the bag of money for his granddaughter that he’ll never deliver — and Walt, stealing Mike’s gun from the car, shooting him on a riverbank over a list of names and a wounded ego. “I just realized Lydia has the names” — Mike’s last words, dying, as Walt realizes the murder was unnecessary even by his own logic. The episode’s other half is the Declan meeting (“Say my name” / “You’re Heisenberg” / “You’re goddamn right”) — the empire at its peak, ugliest hour.
