Summary
With their world turned upside down, Coulson races to save the life of his one true love as the mystery of “The Cellist,” which began in Marvel’s The Avengers.
Our Take
A quieter episode that leans on Coulson’s past, and Amy Acker makes the cellist storyline land better than it probably should. The Ward tension underneath is what really keeps things moving, even if the monster-of-the-week plot feels like filler. Worth watching for the character stuff, just don’t expect the momentum of recent episodes to continue here.
