Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Just when there’s no one left to trust, Agent Maria Hill — from “Marvel’s The Avengers” and “Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Solider” — returns to team up with Coulson as S.H.I.E.L.D. is being destroyed around them.
Our Take
This one leans hard on Maria Hill’s guest spot to sell the stakes, and it mostly works because the show finally lets its villains score real points. The pacing clips along and the betrayals land, though a couple of the emotional beats feel more rushed than earned. A solid, busy hour that keeps the season’s momentum going without doing anything you’ll remember next week.
