The messy one, and Raimi himself has said as much. Peter gets possessed by the symbiote, Harry gets his revenge arc, Sandman gets a redemption speech, Eddie Brock gets fifteen minutes to become Venom, and the dance club scene gets replayed in every trailer compilation of the decade. 62% on Rotten Tomatoes, the lowest of the trilogy.

And yet: Thomas Haden Church’s Flint Marko has the best human story in any of the films, the roadside goodbye is Raimi at full throttle, and Topher Grace’s tabloid Venom is exactly as sad as the comics needed him to be. The movie is overlength and overstuffed because Sony would not cut anything.
