Three Graces

Três Graças finished its run in May 2026, and it sticks as one of the more satisfying Globo novelas of recent seasons. Sophie Charlotte leads as Gerluce, raising her family in a São Paulo favela while going after a politician who diverts public medicine money meant for the poor. Three generations, Gerluce, her mother and her daughter, carry the story, and the show never loses sight of them.

Class is what lifts it above standard melodrama. Poverty here is not set dressing; it shapes every choice, and Dira Paes and Alana Cabral give the older and younger generations real texture. Grazi Massafera, Murilo Benício and Marcos Palmeira supply intrigue and comedy without flattening the serious spine.

It is not flawless. The corruption plot resolves more tidily than such stories do in life, and a few middle chapters drift. But the ending landed with feeling, and that is what you remember about a finished novela.
