Summary
Emily tries to bond with Jackie, but Jackie doesn’t want to bond. Meanwhile, Van suspects that Teddy, Ron, or Wendy used his private bathroom and will stop at nothing to get the guilty party to confess.
Our Take
The Jackie and Emily friendship plot feels like sitcom filler, hitting the same note about forced bonding several times before landing a decent emotional beat near the end. Van’s bathroom investigation is the real draw, with Alan Tudyk clearly having a blast playing petty tyrant. A forgettable but harmless half hour.
