Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Cyril is promoted to field agent, while Malory institutes a strict drug testing policy. Neither of which sit well with the staff of ISIS.
Our Take
Cyril’s disaster-filled field mission with Archer is comedy gold, with the accounting-to-agent transition failing in every predictable way and that being exactly the point. The B-plot about dodging Malory’s drug tests has its moments, especially Krieger’s contribution, though it can’t quite match the main storyline’s momentum. A strong mid-season episode that finds fresh laughs in workplace absurdity.
