Summary
Archer and his fellow prisoners attempt to escape; Malory plays hardball while negotiating Archer’s ransom.
Our Take
A solid close to the three-part pirate arc, with the escape plot moving fast enough that you barely notice how thin it is. H. Jon Benjamin’s deadpan delivery carries the whole thing, and Malory’s ransom haggling lands some of the best lines of the season. Not the show’s peak, but a fun, well-paced half hour that earns its rating.
