Our Take
The episode everyone loves to argue about. Pulling Eleven out of Hawkins for a moody Chicago detour is a bold move, and Millie Bobby Brown sells the anger and confusion even when the punk gang feels like a CW pilot. It drags in the middle and the revenge plot is thin, but it’s a decent character hour if you go in expecting a side quest, not the main story.
