Three years after Char’s rebellion, a teenager named Banagher Links catches a mysterious girl falling from the sky and finds himself inside the Unicorn Gundam, a machine locked to his DNA and hunted by every faction in the Earth Sphere. What follows is a seven film hunt for a box that could rewrite the future.

This is the best looking Gundam production ever made, full stop. The mecha animation set a bar nothing has cleared since, and the story digs into the deepest lore of the original timeline with total confidence. If you only watch one Universal Century story, most fans will tell you it is this one.

Seven episodes, about seven hours, a complete epic. Watch it before RE:0096, since that is this same story recut for TV.
