Answers come to light as Beast Boy, Miss Martian, and Superboy uncover an awful truth.

Our Take

This one hits hard. The Martian setting finally pays off with a reveal that recontextualizes everything, and the voice work during the confrontation scenes sells the grief better than any action beat could. It’s a heavy, slow-burn hour that trusts you to sit with the characters’ pain. If you’ve been waiting for season four to justify itself, this is where it does.
