Summary
Miss Martian and Superboy grapple with family traditions, while Beast Boy struggles with something much darker.
Our Take
A heavy hour that puts Garfield’s grief front and center, and it’s the strongest material the show has handled in years. The Mars storyline is sweet but mostly table-setting for the wedding. It’s an uncomfortable, sad sit, and that’s exactly the point. Worth your time even if you come out of it hurting.
