Roadkill
Our Review
The greatest car show of the internet era. David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan of HOT ROD magazine take whatever broken, half abandoned project car they can find and drive it on a road trip it has no business surviving. The general premise: bad ideas, executed with wrenches, documented with love.
It should not work. Two middle aged magazine guys, a budget of duct tape and optimism, and cars like the Crusher Camaro and the Blasphemi Hemi hauler. But their genuine friendship, deep encyclopedic car knowledge, and total willingness to fail on camera made it the most rewatchable gearhead content ever made. Every episode is a masterclass in problem solving on the shoulder of a highway.
It moved from YouTube to MotorTrend and back, and the engine never changed: two friends, bad cars, great roads.
Our take: 8.5/10.
