Summary
As Beth was growing up, Jim told her everything he knew about her deceased birth mother, but she finds out that he lied to her. On the biggest day of Jim’s life, Beth is supposed to give a speech to memorialize him but shows up ready to destroy him.
Our Take
A fitting sendoff for a show that always mixed crude jokes with real emotional stakes. Hank Azaria sells Jim’s big moment perfectly, and the Beth storyline lands harder than expected, even if the reconciliation wraps up a bit too neatly. Worth your time if you’ve followed Brockmire this far, and honestly, even if you haven’t.
