Summary
Jim and Jules agree to keep their relationship professional, but when they team up to trick the owners into selling the teams to new owners who will let them make the changes they want, their antics remind them of the relationship they used to have.
Our Take
A middling episode that coasts on Hank Azaria and Amanda Peet’s chemistry, which is still the best thing this show has. The scheme to con the owners is fun but wraps up too neatly, and the will-they-won’t-they tension feels like a rerun of earlier seasons. Worth watching if you’re already invested, but it won’t convert anyone.
