Mel Brooks’ sketch show sequel arrives 42 years later with a whole writers room of comedy ringers doing bits across history. When it hits, it is very funny, and when it misses it is still trying something, which is more than most sketch shows can say.
Uneven by nature, but the Jewish space laser musical number alone earns the watch. For comedy completionists.
