Armando Iannucci’s team takes on superhero moviemaking, following the abused crew of a franchise film as it falls apart one catastrophic day at a time. Himesh Patel is great as the first AD holding it all together, and the satire of studio nonsense is often painfully accurate.
The problem: it is funnier about the industry than it is as a show, and it got cancelled before finding a second gear. For film industry junkies only.
Our take: 6/10.
