Two Kiwi musicians try to make it in New York with one fan, one manager, and no money. The deadpan is immaculate, the songs are legitimately great, and Bret and Jemaine remain two of the most lovable losers television has produced.
Rhys Darby’s Murray, the world’s least competent band manager, is a permanent comedy legend. Two seasons, zero filler, all charm.
