Tim Robinson doing the full workplace comedy format: a mid level office drone whose minor workplace humiliation escalates into corporate farce. The show takes the I Think You Should Leave sketch grammar, a man committing to a bit past all reason, the social fabric tearing around him, and stretches it across serialized episodes.
The expansion mostly works: Robinson’s specific gift, the fury of the embarrassed, the dignity of the undignified, gets room to breathe across a season arc, and the supporting cast keeps the cringe engine running. Like all sketch to-series transitions, the hit rate varies, some premises can’t sustain thirty minutes, some are perfect, but the peaks are as funny as anything Robinson’s done. Watch it with sketch album expectations: some tracks skip, the best live in your head forever.
