Rick and Morty reimagined as an anime with a serialized sci fi plot about time loops and memory. It looks great and takes real swings, but the voice work loses the live cast’s comic timing and the humor mostly evaporates in translation.
Curiosity viewing for fans of the main show. As its own thing, it is an interesting experiment that half works.
